What are the foundations for evaluating four-digit numbers?

We have now already discovered {that a} two-digit quantity is at all times larger than a single-digit quantity. However within the case of evaluating four-digit numbers, we should contemplate the next information:

Typically we will create the next guidelines to check two or extra numbers:

(a) If the digits of the 2 numbers are equal, the quantity with the leftmost digit is bigger.

(b) If the leftmost digits of the numbers are equal, the digits to the correct of the leftmost digits are in contrast, and so forth.
