Inside of lab searching for virus in wastewater from US homes

Each week, 1000’s of wastewater samples from sewage methods within the US are flown and trucked to a lab in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Inside the ability, owned by the Biobot Analytics firm, staff in white coats put together to check samples for traces of the virus that causes covid-19. The lab helped monitor the continuing pandemic since 2020. Now, Biobot and different labs hope to broaden using wastewater to watch a wider vary of ailments, together with seasonal fluctuations.
